Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by cyon AG in Basel; the servers are located in Switzerland. Each time you visit, the server automatically records technical details in log files: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, your browser and operating system, and the page you visited before.

We need this data to run the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks. We do not link it to other data and delete it automatically after a short time.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. We do not count visits and we do not build profiles.

If you switch the language, at most your own browser remembers that choice. Nothing is sent to us.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google thereby receives your IP address, possibly on servers in the USA. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Contact by email

If you write to us at hallo@vitudurgames.com, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer your request. We do not pass this data on and delete it once your request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligation applies.

Links to Steam and other providers

Our website links to Steam (Valve Corporation, Bellevue, USA) and possibly to other platforms and social networks. Simply visiting our website sends no data to these providers. If you follow a link, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.

Our games

Pfadlinge and Operation Sol work without an account with us and send no personal data to us. What Steam, the App Store or other platforms collect when you buy and play is governed by their own privacy terms.

Should one of our games process data in the future, for example for leaderboards, we will tell you beforehand in the game and here.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to request a copy of it and to object to its processing. Write to us at hallo@vitudurgames.com; we will get back to you promptly.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We update this policy when our website, our games or the law change. The current version can always be found here.
